Travel Information: COVID-19 Update

We are closely monitoring the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments.

Our Cancellation Policy:

In response to changing marketplace conditions, SoHo Residences is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.

  • For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival. Please note that any changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • For guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
  • For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, including reservations with pre-paid rates, we will allow the reservation to be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
  • Please note that certain rate codes are non-refundable. Please call us if you have any questions.

Our Commitment to Cleanliness:

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously, and we are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. SoHo Residences is working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19 and other coronaviruses, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures.

During Your Stay:

Ottawa guests will be provided with a lockbox number and combination one day prior to their arrival. Payment will be processed 1-2 days prior to arrival. Upon arrival, guests will access their assigned lockbox in the vestibule of the property, which contains their room keys, building fobs, parking pass/remote, welcome letter and info letter regarding COVID-19 procedures (including all contact information for assistance). Toronto guests will check in at the hotel where they will receive information and fobs for their stay.

Regular housekeeping service is no longer being offered to our guests at our properties. In lieu of this, extra room amenities are provided within the room prior to the guest’s arrival. Should they require any additional amenities, or wish to replace their towels and/or linens, they simply need to make the request via e-mail, and the additional items will be delivered to their door.

Temporary Update to Amenities and Services:

Kindly note in compliance with the provincial government mandate announced on December 21st, our health and fitness centres at all SoHo Residences locations will temporarily close effective December 26th until further government instructions are provided.

Moretti Restaurant at Toronto’s SoHo Residences will be temporarily suspending dining operations until further notice.
